System Requirements

Hardware

• CPU
  CPU with at least two cores is recommended.

• Main Memory
  16GB or more is required.

When some data are in wait for writing to bucket, the data in wait for writing are cached to memory space.

• Hard Disk
  150MB or more of available disk space is required.

  Another storage is separately required for saving the backup image.

• Cache Device
  You are recommended to use a cache device when the backup data amount received from ActiveImage Protector client exceeds the write speed to the storage which a bucket is created.

  The use of a device faster than the network interface used for receiving backup data enables you to suppress the decrease in the backup process speed on ActiveImage Protector client.

When installed on an instance in cloud, please make sure that the following port is enabled in inbound rule settings.

Operating System

Windows Server 2016 or later Windows Server OS

In the environment where a user account control feature is enabled, you will get a message prompting you to allow execution of the program. If you encounter this case, please press [Allow] and proceed with the wizard operation.

Others

• Intel/AMD based system is supported. Intel Itanium (IA-64) based system is not supported.
