This document contains the important information regarding the use of this product.
It is highly recommended that you read this document carefully before using this product.

When casting, the target computer being casted to has two storage devices of the same size, the storage devices may not be recognized in the specified order when booting up the client (Windows PE). In this case, please enable [Replace the disk order and create Deploy Media] to create Deploy media, and run Deploy task again.

The following Deploy media and the backup images are not supported to use.

Deploy Media and backup images created by using ActiveImage Deploy USB

Deploy Media created by using Version 5.0.0.

When an update for Rapid Deploy Deploy Media Creator is available, the update files, if downloaded, are installed in Image Data volume on the Deploy Media after the following processing has completed. Connect the Deploy Media to the computer on which ImageCast Server is running, and when ImageCast Server’s console window is launched, you will be prompted to answer if you download the update files, as far as the conditions are met.

Data transfer performance conforms to the performance of switching hub in use.

The data volume size of an image file displayed in head-up display on console window does not correspond to the actually processed volume size.

You are recommended to use the source image for multi-casting deployment created by selecting the default settings ([Standard Compression] - [Fast]). When the client computer’s storage does not have sufficient available space larger than the source image for deployment, casting the source image created by using Deduplication Compression may fail.

You are recommended to activate [PXE Deploy] on a single network even when the target computer is connected to multiple networks. When [PXE Deploy] is activated on multiple networks, the operation becomes unstable.

When the required settings are configured on the client computer, however, PXE boot fails, please try the following.

When downloading the required files suspends in the process of PXE boot, please reboot the client computer and try PXE boot again.

When PXE boot does not occur, please deactivate PXE Deploy feature on NIC connecting to the same network as the client computer and reactivate PXE Deploy feature again. Reboot the client computer and try PXE boot again.

When enabling [Shut-down Windows system using authentication information], please make sure the following conditions are met.
- Use a valid build-in administrator account
- The Windows system firewall is configured to allow Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI).
Whe you fail to shut-down Windows system, please wait for a while and try again. If you still fail to shut-down the system, please shut down the local system of the computer.

The image for PXE Boot is created in the Deploy Media plugged in the computer when PXE Deploy feature was enabled for the first time. When you need to replace the image for PXE Boot, please use the following operating procedures.
- Disable PXE Deploy feature.
- Delete boot.sdi and boot.wim located in the following path. C:\Program Files\Actiphy\Rapid Deploy\ImageCast Server\PXE\files\sources
- Please plug in the newly created Deploy Media and enable PXE Deploy feature.

The Deploy target computers list is saved in the Deploy Media after the deployment process.

When the deployment process stops gaining the progress even after a certain wait period, shut down the ImageCast client PC using the following operating procedures and try deployment again.
- Go to [List Actions] - [Shutdown ImageCast client] in console window.
- Right-click on the client which the process has stopped and select [Shut-down ImageCast client] in the right-click menu.
When ImageCast client PC does not shut down even after going through the above operating procedures, please try the hot key [ctrl + alt + s] and shut down the PC.
When ImageCast client PC does not shut down even by pressing the hot key, please press and hold on the power button on the client PC to turn it off.
