Precautions

To create USB boot media, please make sure USB device has 4GB or more available space.
If USB media is selected as the target device, the boot area is built in the first 2GB and the rest is reserved as data storage space. -
All prior data on the selected USB device will be erased.

Built-in device drivers must support Windows OS / Windows PE based OS versions to create the boot environment.
- When creating the boot environment by using Windows RE, the device driver must support the Windows OS version on which the boot environment is created.

When creating the boot environment by using Windows ADK, the device driver must support Windows PE based OS version.
- When applying valid product key after trial use, you can change the key by clicking Edit icon on the right of [Product Key] in the top window.
Functional Limitations

It takes longer for the console to access the service in boot environment.

The backup image files saved in Actiphy StorageServer Docker is not supported to embed in the created media.

When creating the media on desktop OS by embedding a backup image file saved in Actiphy StorageServer, clicking [Connect] button may display a dialog making sure that Windows Defender firewall is configured to allow access. When you get this message, please click [Allow] button.

When using a proxy server for internet access to activation server, downloading updates may fail. If you get this problem, please access Actiphy’s Web site, download and apply the updates.
Functional limitations to Arm-based OS/Arm-based device

When building boot environment by using Windows ADK, only ADK 10.1.26100.1 (May 2024) or later version is supported.
When the boot environment is built in the media by using Windows ADK, the keyboard and mouse that comes with the computer or USB device may not be recognized.

When Windows Update is applied, boot-up of the boot environment built using Windows RE may fail in 0xc0e90001 error. In this case, please use Windows ADK to build boot environment.
