Consolidation

Consolidation of image files enables to consolidate the incremental backup image files created by using ActiveImage Protector.

1. Select a backup task and click [Consolidation] in the Operation ribbon.

2. Select an image set and specify the range of the incremental files to consolidate.

3. Select the option.

   • Keep original image files Check this box to retain the original backups.

   • Compute MD5 Enabling this option creates an MD5 checksum file for the archived file.

   • Execution Priority
     Depending on the number of processes running on the system, adjust the execution priority for the consolidation process.

   Click [Run Consolidation] to run the process.
